I recently received an email from Penny in NSW asking me what a concorde hair clip was.  A very good question and I thank Penny for her email.  Let me explain some of the names of our hair clips.

Concorde Clip

A concorde clip is simply a hair clip with a slender body.  Perfect to create many hair designs with style, concorde clips are very versatile hair accessories to decorate and secure your hair.  We have an extensive range of beautiful concorde clips with various sizes to suit the length of your hair.  A must-have for any practical and fashionable accessory collection.  

Hair Stick

As the name suggests, a hair stick is simply a stick used to secure hair styles. It is best used on hair twists (french twist for example) or buns.  The hair stick is my favourite piece of hair accessory because it can create such feminine hair styles and the decorative section of the stick is visible from the front.  With a hair stick, you will never need to spend ages in front of the mirror to soften the look.  Our exquisite hair sticks come in two decorative shapes, a large butterfly and an oriental fan.  The oriental fan stick is a modern replica of the traditional Japanese geisha accessory and can be used in the same way as a normal hair stick.

Barrette

A barrette is a clasp or pin for holding hair in place.  It is likely to be the most frequently used hair accessory in your entire accessory collection.  Barrettes are great to dress-up a hair style or to simply accessorise.  Our barrettes come in many styles and sizes to suit your hair.
